The event was organized by the Brazilian Institute of Energy Law Studies – IBDE and held at the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro – FIRJAN. It aimed to discuss the main legal, regulatory and contractual issues in the oil and natural gas industry.

Camila Araújo, as president of IBDE, was responsible for the official opening of the congress. José Antônio Martho coordinated the panel “Oil Taxation – form x substance”. Maria D’Assunção Costa was one of the speakers on the panel “Gas Law: Federal Regulation (ANP) / State Regulation (Consumer Freedom)”.
