On August 22, the Women in Taxation group celebrated its second anniversary with an event on the theme “Tax Reform by them.”
Our intern, Maria Clara Murray, from the tax department, attended the event and the lawyer, Fernanda Botinha, took part as a speaker on the panel on “Reform in the sectors of the economy: agriculture, services, industry, real estate and finance” alongside Renata Emery, Márcia Sepúlveda, Gisele Barra Bossa, Ana Cristina Assunção and Elisa da Costa.
The group was created with the aim of strengthening female representation in the tax area, as well as creating a network of strategic connections between female tax lawyers, promoting quality networking and business opportunities.
Today it has representatives and ambassadors in many Brazilian states, as well as Clube MT, MT Jovem and MT Educação, which encourages study through courses and lectures on current tax law topics. For this reason, our firm is proud to be a gold sponsor of the project.
