Published decree providing for the payment of emergency aid for workers
Decree 10.316 / 2020, published on yesterday (07/04/2020), instituted the payment of emergency aid, in the amount of R$ 600.00 (six hundred reais), for the worker who, cumulatively:
1. You are over 18 years of age;
2. Do not have active formal employment;
3. Do not have a social security or assistance benefit, unemployment insurance beneficiary or federal income transfer program, except for the Bolsa Família Program;
4. Have per capita monthly family income up to half the minimum wage or total monthly family income of up to three minimum wages;
5. In 2018, you have not received taxable income above R$ 28,559.70;
6. Exercise in the condition that:
a) Individual Microentrepreneur – MEI; or
b) Individual contributor to the General Social Security System; or
c) Informal worker, whether employed, self-employed or unemployed, of any nature, including intermittent inactive, enrolled in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government – Single Registry or that meets the requirement of item 4 above.
03 installments of emergency assistance will be paid to the worker, regardless of the date of their grant, it is important to note that the worker will undergo a prior analysis to confirm compliance with all requirements.
The woman providing a single-parent family will be entitled to two installments of the aid, that is, R $ 1,200.00, even if there is another eligible worker in the family.
The intermittent worker (i) with a formalized employment contract until the date of the publication of MP 936/2020 (04/01/2020), even without remuneration, will be entitled to the monthly emergency benefit treated by said MP, being prohibited the accumulation with the emergency aid treated by the Decree or (ii) that has not formalized a contract, provided that it does not fall under item (i) above, it will receive the emergency aid treated here.
